
PETS & PUPPIES
To take advantage of our service, your pet(s) must be up to date on the rabies vaccination and have a safe/well-tempered disposition. Puppies must be approximately 6-8 months old and fully potty trained in order to schedule standard vacation visits. The only exception for underage puppies is if the owner reserves “OVERNIGHT STAYS” in addition to two standard visits during the day.
VISITS
Dogs are required to receive a minimum of 2 visits per day. Cats must receive at least 1 visit per day. In the event of repeated accidents, urine or stool, not related to pet illness, an additional daily visit will be scheduled and charged.
Due to risk of liability, Pet Nanny Service does not share pet care duties with friends, neighbors, etc. If you would like a family member to help out with your pets/home a “Release of Liability” form must be signed.
For our safety the last visit of the day will be scheduled no later than 7:00 pm.
CONFIRMATION TEXT
You will receive a confirmation text the day before your scheduled departure. If you do not receive your confirmation, please contact Pet Nanny Service before you leave town. You will also receive a confirmation text when we have completed our “last” visit with your pets.
HOLIDAY BOOKINGS (CHRISTMAS & THANKSGIVING WEEK)
All major holiday weekends are subject to an additional $6 per visit and $10 per overnight. For visits scheduled during Christmas Week, New Years & Thanksgiving Week an additional $8 charge per visit will apply and $15 per overnight.
PAYMENT
Fees for pet sitting services are to be paid in full via cash or check at the first scheduled visit.
BOOKINGS
All travel bookings require a nonrefundable /nontransferable deposit to hold requested service dates. The deposit will be applied to your upcoming trip. Clients reserving service visits under $150 a $30 deposit will be required, over $150 of service a $50 deposit and for overnight stays and service over $500 a $95 non-refundable deposit will be required. Once payment is received your booking is reserved.
CANCELLATIONS
All travel cancellations will incur the non-refundable booking deposit fee to help compensate for the loss of income.
As of October 2025, we will no longer be offering partial credits when clients return home earlier than scheduled.
When a booking is made, we commit to those dates and often turn away other clients to guarantee availability. Early cancellations or changes can leave gaps in our schedule that cannot be filled on short notice.This decision ensures that we can continue to reserve time exclusively for your pet’s care
All weekly mid-day clients MUST cancel 7 days prior to scheduled service to receive credit.
***All scheduled power walks reservation must give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancelled walks, or you will be charged accordingly. ***
